The scope calls for Mining of 1,200,000 metric tonnes of waste and gold ore from an ongoing open pit to the depth up to 80 meters & beyond.
SCMS accomplished the drilling / blasting / bench scaling / excavation / loading
/ hauling of ore & waste from bottom of the pit as well as push back blocks of values from / near the surface using generally 85/102 mm drilling / blast pattern
/ CAT 980 /CAT 966 /CATD11/Haulers to the required target with grade control. SCMS accomplished the target successfully all through the contract by maintaining the tonnage required and the grade.
